Who is eligible to register for the BDE course?
You must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid Ontario G1 licence to enrol in the MTO-approved BDE course.
How do I register?
You can register online through this website. Fill in your details on the Online Registration page and our team will confirm your enrolment.
What documents do I need?
You will need your Ontario G1 licence and a valid email address. Further documentation may be requested depending on your course.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. We offer flexible payment options including installment plans. See our Payment Options page or contact us to discuss your needs.
How long does the BDE course take?
The MTO-approved BDE course consists of 20 hours of in-class instruction, 10 hours of in-car training, and 10 hours of home study.
Can I reschedule my lessons?
Yes. You can reschedule lessons through the Student Portal with reasonable notice to your instructor.
Will completing BDE reduce my G2 wait time?
Yes. Successfully completing an MTO-approved BDE course reduces the wait period from 12 months to 8 months before your G2 road test.
