General DriveTest Day Tips
Arrive 15–20 minutes early to allow time to settle and do a vehicle check.
Bring your Ontario driver's licence and any required documents.
Check all lights, signals, mirrors, and brakes on your vehicle the day before.
Adjust your seat, mirrors, and steering wheel before the examiner gets in.
Communicate clearly with the examiner — ask for clarification if you don't understand an instruction.
Come to a full, complete stop at all stop signs — one of the most common fail points.
Check all mirrors and blind spots before every lane change and turn.
Maintain the correct speed — not too fast, not too slow.
Stay calm. Breathe. Drive exactly as you have been trained.
